During the Award ceremony at Strathfield Girls High School, Darion Akins presented a special address with emphasis on how volunteering enhances the volunteer’s life and the community. While education is the basis for success, volunteering is a value-added endeavor that distinguishes the person. “After all”, Darion said, “volunteering is about giving back.”

Consul General visits Charles Sturt University Bathurst
Consul General Niels Marquardt met with the Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt University, Professor Ian Goulter (right) and Head of Campus in Bathurst, Mr Col Sharp (left).
