Visa Re-Issue Wizard

Certain applicants may now be eligible to apply for a new U.S. visa without having an interview with a U.S. consular officer.

With limited exceptions, applicants for U.S. visas worldwide must have their fingerprints enrolled at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate. There is no change to this policy. However, certain applicants may now be eligible for U.S. visa issuance without a consular interview, normally required following the enrollment of fingerprints.

Please note that because this assessment is based only on your responses to the following questions, it cannot be taken as definitive advice. Individuals remain responsible for demonstrating their eligibility to enter the United States.

Neither possession of a visa, nor meeting the basic requirements for traveling visa-free on the VWP, guarantees admission to the United States. As with most countries, the final determination of admissibility is made by immigration officials at the port of entry.
