Talisman Sabre to End with a Bang!

EXERCISE TALISMAN SABRE 2005
COMBINED JOINT INFORMATION BUREAU
Exercise Talisman Sabre will end in spectacular fashion on Saturday the 25th of June. The ‘good guys’ and the ‘bad guys’ will do battle one last time at Samuel Hill in the Shoal Water Bay Training Area (SWBTA).
The battle will involve troops from both the US and Australian Army, Navy and Air Force and will signify the end of the Field Training Exercise (FTX) phase of TS05: the culmination of a week’s intensive training.
Interested media are invited to accompany the Combined Joint Information Bureau (CJIB) staff from Camp Rocky to Samuel Hill in the SWBTA on Saturday the 25th of June to capture the final battle.
Media should note that due to the very nature of the battle it is not possible to provide full battle details and timings.
Media and CJIB staff will deploy to Samuel Hill on Fri 24th of June and camp overnight to be in an optimum position to capture the final battle on Saturday.
